I have to go with the Nikon D70. You can never go wrong with Nikon.
I have a Fuji S5200, the "SLR-like". It is much cheaper than some SLRs. Inclusive is RAW mode, the great pictures. I think the answer to your question really depends on how much the "pro" Stress in the prosumer. "

To a great prosumer digital camera, take a look at the Nikon D50 or D70. Both cost less than $ 1000, but both say that the body feel reflex.
I think you mean a non-SLR, since you said it already has a profile of "digital". The Canon G7 is very well rated, but I've never been.
